The Guide Story

We believe life is too short not to love what you do.

After spending over 5 years building candidate sourcing software for talent organizations across the world, my co-founder Austin and I noticed a new challenge facing TA teams: they were no longer struggling to find and reach candidates; they were struggling to win them for the job. Job seekers on the other hand felt unempowered and in the dark about what to expect and who to trust. After all, this decision would impact their lives and day-to-day happiness. Can you blame them?

In 2021, Austin and I sold Resource to Gem and decided to work on this problem full-time. In a rising sea of recruiting tools (a great thing!), there was a gap addressing this very human problem. This, we deeply believe, is one worth solving.
